Highway Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting road condition surveys
• Putting together proposals for reconstruction and resurfacing
• Preparing design briefs and estimates
• Supervising contractors on-site
• Liaising with third parties
• Agreeing on measures and payments to ensure the company's programme of works is delivered in year and investment made
• re-surfacing project

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience in highway maintenance engineering
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in relevant software applications
