A client within the Public Sector based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Highways Design Technician to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a traffic regulations environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to be experienced in Highway and Traffic scheme design, implementation and project management.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Design and implementation of local safety schemes, accident analysis, traffic management schemes, traffic calming.
• Have good knowledge of TSRGD and DMRB.
• Have proven communication skills working with all stakeholders.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require experience of producing detailed design drawings and tender drawings in AutoCAD and a good understanding of traffic regulation orders (TROs).

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £35 - £40 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
