Prison Pharmacy Technician Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Location: needed across HMP Services in Kent
SCS Recruitment are currently looking for a Prison Service Pharmacist to work a Full time or Part Time contract within a Prison within Kent.
Job role
To provide on a weekly basis, the pharmacy clinical service to the allocated cluster of prisons, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
To work as a team with the pharmacy technician in the allocated cluster and to support this technician professionally when on site.
To implement the prison formulary, in collaboration with primary care colleagues.
To generate monthly reports on drug expenditure for the allocated cluster prisons and to advice the prescribers on areas for improvement and efficiencies.
To act as responsible pharmacist when rostered to do so in the dispensary.
To ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the delivery service across the prisons.
Hourly Pay
Negotiable depending on experience
Requirements
Prison Clearance
Master's Degree of Pharmacy or equivalent
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of GB (GPhC)
Valid Right to work in the UK
Experience working with mental health within a similar setting
Positive can do attitude
IT literate
Excellent communication skills
Previously completed Control and Restraint training within the last 12 months or willing to complete a face to face course
