Location: NG316EJ (Grantham, 5 min walk to train station)
DBS Level: Enhanced (Adult and Child)
Service Users: 16-17-year-olds and Care Leavers up to 21, including young parents and children
Working Hours: As per request, 8am - 6pm shifts, 3-week rolling rota
Car Driver Needed: No
Own Vehicle Needed: No

We are currently seeking a dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our team in Grantham (NG316EJ). As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in assisting 16-17 year olds and Care Leavers up to 21, including young parents and children, in achieving independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to young people in developing independent life skills.
- Assist in the application process for benefits to ensure financial stability.
- Facilitate engagement in educational activities and support their academic journey.
- Collaborate with service users to create and implement personalized support plans.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of service users in lone working situations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Work within the specified 8am - 6pm shifts on a 3-week rolling rota.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (both Adult and Child).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Experience in supporting young people with diverse needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to promoting independence and well-being.
