Service Users: 16-17 year olds and Care Leavers up to 21, including young parents and children
Working Hours: As per request, 8 am - 6 pm shifts, 3-week rolling rota

As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to 16-17-year-olds and Care Leavers up to 21, assisting them with independent life skills, benefit applications, and educational engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to young people, focusing on developing independent life skills.
- Assist in the application process for benefits and grants to support residents.
- Facilitate educational engagement and encourage participation in learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with external agencies to maximize support for young people.
- Create and maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (Both Adult and Child).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by young people transitioning to independence.
