Job Title: Housing Support Worker
Location: East Midlands - Nottingham, Leicester, Derby
DBS Level: Enhanced Adult
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Shift pattern - Monday - Friday 8 am-4 pm / 2 pm - 10 pm, 1 Saturday a month
Car Driver Needed: Yes
Own Vehicle Needed: Yes
Valid Business Insurance: Yes

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team in the East Midlands region, covering areas in Nottingham, Leicester, and Derby. As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing resettlement, motivation, and support to individuals rebuilding their lives after being released from custodial sentences.

Main Duties of the Role:

  • Provide first-line support as the community support officer for tenants, acting as the face of the organization.
  • Work proactively with colleagues, key partners, and stakeholders to deliver housing and support services.
  • Offer resettlement support and motivation for service users to facilitate their reintegration into the local community.
  • Ensure a supportive environment for individuals transitioning from custodial settings, promoting positive engagement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with key partners, stakeholders, and colleagues to enhance the overall delivery of housing and support services.

Requirements:

  • Car driver with a valid driving license.
  • Own vehicle and valid business insurance.
  • Enhanced Adult DBS clearance.
