Position: Housing Support Worker
Location: Lincoln
Postcode: LN6 0LT
DBS Level: Enhanced (Both adult and child)
Service Users: Predominantly 16-17-year-olds and Care Leavers up to 21, inclusive of young parents and children

Are you passionate about empowering individuals and enabling positive change? Join our team at Schoeffer House as a Housing Support Worker. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in providing essential support to vulnerable youth and Care Leavers. Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate seamless transitions and empower our service users to lead independent lives.

Working Hours:
Rotating schedule spanning 3 weeks
10-hour shifts (8am-6pm)
Weekend duty once every 3 weeks
Week 1: Mon-Thurs
Week 2: Thurs-Sun
Week 3: Tues-Fri

Driving Requirement:

  • Mandatory car driver
  • Own vehicle essential
  • Valid business insurance required


Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized support to vulnerable individuals
  • Foster collaboration with diverse agencies
  • Oversee housing and property affairs to ensure successful transitions
  • Promote stability and self-sufficiency among service users

Property Management:
Supervision of 26 self-contained flats on-site
Oversight of an additional 18 properties within the team's purview
