HR Assistant

Job Description

A Client within the public sector is currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join their People and Organisational Development (POD) team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, temporary position and the ideal candidate will have experience within the public sector and previously employment in a HR or People Support environment.

The purpose of the role is to be support admin across HR exec office and talent acquisition teams in the organisation.

The responsibilities of the role include:
Diary appointments, offer letters, booking meeting rooms, arranging interviews, helping new starters/new starter details, chasing up references, making sure IT have set up what they need to, liaising with Cheryl, Tania or Amy, sending out letters on any changes that have happened, supporting with people leaving, working out any annual leave that's owed, making sure IT is collected back in etc.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £17 p/hour Umbrella Ltd (approx. £440 p/week NET after deductions). So if this position sounds of interest, email a copy of your up to date CV to or call James at Service Care Construction on 01772 208967
