HR Business Partner

Job Description

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a HR Business Partner to work in East Sussex within the NHS on a temporary agency contract.


3 month request (ongoing)
Site 2 days
Remote 3 days
Band 8a
£34.00Ltd an hour (paid weekly via an umbrella company.)
37.5hrs a week office hours although flexible.


Key duties and responsibilities

  • To develop highly effective working relationships with all HR services in order to provide robust, high quality and seamless HR services across the entire HR function.
  • To assess HR capability and capacity and be responsible for allocating HR resources to meet Divisional needs e.g. in relation to change, TUPE, training, etc.
  • To align the HR Services provision to the Division in order to ensure that it meets its needs and is aligned to Divisional and overall Trust organisational objectives
  • To ensure that the Division is compliant with employment law, regulations and adheres to the terms and conditions as stipulated in Agenda for Change and Trust Policies and Procedures
  • Supported by the Workforce Team to develop and implement workforce plans for the Division, providing support as required.
  • To work closely with services to ensure internal HR plans are aligned with sustainable transformation plans affecting Divisions ensuring that effective HR governance systems are maintained to meet the requirements of internal and external monitoring organisations/regulators e.g. NHSLA, CQC, NHSI.
  • To implement effective risk management and escalation processes within the HR Department to ensure effective oversight, monitoring and assurance where required.
  • To deputise for the Head of Employee Relations and Business Partnering, which will include leading, managing and co-ordinating Operational HR Department activities in their absence
  • To support the Head of Employee Relations and Business Partnering in the delivery of the annual HR priorities for the Human Resources Directorate, to support the Trust's annual plan.
