Service Care solutions are recruiting for a Senior Information Analyst to work a temporary agency contract in the NHS based near Marylebone.

Hours
37.5 Monday to Friday
Hybrid working with more home working than the office.

Pay
£25.40PAYE (£32Ltd) an hour paid weekly via an umbrella company

Job Role
As a senior member of the Hub team, you will be responsible for supporting the analytical function for the Commissioning Hub, supporting with the development and presentation of accurate and meaningful business intelligence reflecting all aspects of pathway performance. The post-holder will do this as a core member of the Commissioning Hub, combining operational awareness and understanding with knowledge of data and systems. The post holder will have information/project management experience with a comprehensive knowledge of specialist NHS Services and the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health. In addition, the post holder will be experienced at engaging with clinical and managerial stakeholders at senior levels both internally and externally.

  • Work with internal/external information departments to develop automated processes for extracting metrics
  • Provide relevant and timely dashboards to programme boards, supported with specialist advice and guidance on functional and information matters
  • Support the Business Intelligence Team on the advancement of existing dashboards to support strategic longer terms goals including capacity and demand modelling, market profiling and bench marking, to support the commissioning function of the Hub
  • Responsible for preparation of regular, and ad-hoc secure care pathway reports for use by the Programme Board and to ensure these reports continue to accurately communicate NLFC activity, patient experience and performance. correspondence and complex papers, as directed.



Experience

  • Knowledge of business modelling databases In depth specialist knowledge of information analysis and the use of information across the NHS.
  • Ability to convert contractual data to management information
  • Project management experience including:
  • Project planning, reporting and risk management Delivering change projects within agreed timescales.
  • Highly rational with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative information to stimulate improvement.
  • Knowledge of information and analysis and experience of presentation of information to non specialists.
  • Relevant experience working as an information analyst
  • Experience of interrogating and manipulating databases
  • Experience with highly complex NHS relational databases and NHS Data dictionary and terminology
  • Knowledge of national and local health data sets, in particular the NHS
  • Commissioning Data Set and data definitions
