I am currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of IT Procurement Project Lead within the NHS, based in the central London area, with remote work options available. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for further details.
Position Details:
- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Location: London/Remote (Occasional need for meetings)
- Rate: £38.93 - £48.00 PAYE per hour (Paid weekly by an umbrella company)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership in business continuity/emergency planning, including policy and procedure development.
- Compile an annual EPRR workplan, incorporating a training and exercising program for continual improvement and best practice within EPRR.
- Develop strategies for each area of activity, monitor progress against the workplan, and address identified gaps through established governance arrangements.
- Collaborate with Lead EPRR officers in partner Trusts to develop risk-based contingencies for service continuity.
- Oversee the ongoing development, review, and implementation of Business Continuity Management Policy in compliance with NHS England's Core Standards for EPRR and ISO:22301.
- Engage with Directors, Senior Managers, and staff to ensure partner Trusts achieve compliance against EPRR Core Standards.
- Establish and lead a central NWLPS EPRR Committee reporting to NWLPS SSB.
- Interpret national and regional EPRR guidance to inform policies and plans.
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the receipt and dissemination of information during incidents.
Main Duties and Responsibilities in Governance:
- Provide leadership for a high-quality EPRR function supporting NWLPS corporate objectives.
- Support Lead EPRR officers in respective Trusts to achieve key deliverables and objectives.
- Coordinate a whole-system integrated approach to EPRR within NWLPS remit, liaising with senior management at local and London levels.
- Drive forward the NWLPS agenda on EPRR.
- Ensure all EPRR plans are up-to-date and revised in accordance with new legislation and national guidance.
- Manage highly complex EPRR planning requirements for the Trust at department and Trust levels.
- Undertake an educational campaign to raise awareness of EPRR across the Region and ensure sufficient training is in place for emergency response.
- Develop and embed local and London-wide policies and strategies through regular liaison with internal and external senior staff.
- Attend relevant meetings and groups, sharing learning appropriately.
- Provide expert knowledge on EPRR matters within NWLPS, ensuring these issues remain a priority for all staff.
