Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our client team in Cardiff on a temporary basis. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen operations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a passion for food service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef.
• Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Help with the washing up and cleaning of kitchen utensils, pots, and pans.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
• Support the kitchen team with any other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the kitchen.
