Learning and Development Specialist

A Client within the public sector is currently recruiting for a Learning & Development Specialist to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full time, temporary position and the ideal candidate will have experience of developing e-learning materials using appropriate software, e.g. Articulate 360.
The purpose of this role is to work on the design and delivery of SAP HR training materials that will enable effective business change for the workforce to seamlessly transition from their current in-house provision to a new HR Service provided by the Authority.

The main responsibilities of the role:

  • Support the HRSS Change Delivery Manager in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of learning interventions for the HR Shared Service
  • Partner with relevant subject matter experts and 3rd parties to support the design, development and delivery of learning interventions
  • Fix any issues and respond to feedback to improve the HRSS learning offering
  • Support the learning customer by managing customer queries and end-user expectations, educating on core learning products and initiatives, resolving customer and end-user queries and gathering feedback on service.
  • Improve the design, development and delivery of existing training to create fit-for-purpose, effective learning solutions that achieve the learner objectives.
  • Deliver on agreed performance metrics


Requirements:

  • Can design and facilitate effective face to face learning interventions to meet organisational and business needs (Essential)
  • Can design and deliver effective online / virtual learning content to meet organisational and business needs (Essential)
  • Experience of developing elearning materials using appropriate software, e.g. Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, Replay) (Essential)
  • Experience of designing, developing and delivering technical training (Essential)
  • Experience of working with SAP HR systems (Essential)
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers in the learning and development skills area (Essential)
  • Can design and facilitate effective face to face learning interventions to meet organisational and business needs (Essential)
  • Can design and deliver effective online / virtual learning content to meet organisational and business needs (Essential)


The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £250 - £275 p/day Umbrella Ltd (approx. £790 - £855 p/week NET after deductions) dependant on experience and qualifications.
