Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen council for a full time leaving care personal adviser to join their Children Services team.
This role is based on a temporary contract for 3 months, however performance will be reviewed and there is a chance for this to increase or even become permanent.
Blackburn Council are looking for aspirational, positive people to work alongside their existing staff of personal advisors within the leaving care service. As a PA you will need to be creative, caring, passionate and determined.
What you will do:
- This PA role will provide support and interventions to young people in or leaving care age 21 or over
- You will work alongside a diverse and cohesive team providing support to young people & young adults.
What you need:
- Experience of working in a similar role with young people up not the age of 25
- You must be a car driver with daily access to a car
