We have an exciting opportunity to join the local authority as a Waste and Recycling Loader on a temporary, full-time contract based in Tonypandy, Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect refuse from bins or bags at designated collection points or from households requiring assisted support.
• Return bins without causing obstruction, in line with expectations.
• Collect garden waste, other bagged waste, bulky items, assist with skip collections, and provide liners as required.
• Report any accidents, faults, or repair needs promptly.
• Commit to a work pattern that reflects service delivery needs.
• Complete timesheets, accident books, and other records in a timely manner.
• Undertake other cleaning duties, support waste sort arrangements, and deliver new bins as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in performing physically demanding work.
• Numeracy and literacy skills to complete basic documentation.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
