About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Medical Secretary to join our remote team supporting ADHD assessment and treatment services. This is a flexible part-time position ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for supporting neurodiverse patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and handling inbound and outbound patient calls in a professional and empathetic manner
- Preparing, writing, and reviewing clinical assessments and reports for accuracy and clarity
- Liaising with clinicians, patients, and external organisations
- Managing electronic files, correspondence, and appointment scheduling
- Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare legislation, data protection, and confidentiality standards
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an ADHD or neurodevelopmental services setting
- Strong call handling and patient communication skills
- Proven ability to write and review detailed medical or psychological assessments
- Good understanding of basic healthcare legislation (e.g. GDPR, safeguarding, clinical confidentiality)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using clinical or administrative software systems
- Knowledge of ADHD assessment pathways in the UK
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in remote environments
