Job Title: Remote Medical Secretary – ADHD Services
Location: Remote
Hours: 16–20 hours per week (flexibility welcome).
Rate of Pay: £16 per hour. DOE.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Medical Secretary to join our remote team supporting ADHD assessment and treatment services. This is a flexible part-time position ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for supporting neurodiverse patients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering and handling inbound and outbound patient calls in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Preparing, writing, and reviewing clinical assessments and reports for accuracy and clarity
  • Liaising with clinicians, patients, and external organisations
  • Managing electronic files, correspondence, and appointment scheduling
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare legislation, data protection, and confidentiality standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an ADHD or neurodevelopmental services setting
  • Strong call handling and patient communication skills
  • Proven ability to write and review detailed medical or psychological assessments
  • Good understanding of basic healthcare legislation (e.g. GDPR, safeguarding, clinical confidentiality)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using clinical or administrative software systems
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of ADHD assessment pathways in the UK
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in remote environments
