Service Care Solutions have a vacancy for a Cleaning Operative to join a local authority working out of the Leicester area on a full-time temporary basis.
Working 37 hours per week, the role holder will undertake a variety of tasks to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained within the public spaces within offices and Park Pavillions.
The role holder will support in the cleaning and tidying of parks and offices to a high standard.
Key duties in this role will include;
- Undertake general cleaning duties to a high standard in all areas of the building, ensuring the property is hygienic, clean, safe and accessible for all customers. This includes the;
- Removal of infestation of rodents.
- Filling bins with unwanted items from the grounds such as rubbish/litter.
- Safely store all equipment and cleaning materials, maintain stock control records and liaise with managers when additional resources/materials are required, reporting any damages or repairs.
- Undertake all duties with due care and consideration for customers, staff and other users in line with Health and Safety requirements, raising any issues or concerns with managers, as appropriate.
- Participate in staff development opportunities and take full advantage of training provided.
- Demonstrate commitment to the provision of services that deliver equality and social inclusion
About you; - Hold a Full UK Driving License (A vehicle will be provided)
- Be flexible to cover large parts of Leicester where required
- Be Physically fit
- Have an understanding of Health and Safety processes
