We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Neurology Consultant for a 3-month locum position. This role involves providing specialist neurological care and clinical leadership within a dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The position includes standard weekday shifts with on-call responsibilities every six weeks over weekends.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-Call Requirement: Weekend on-call duty every 6 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist neurology consultation and care to inpatients and outpatients.
- Contribute to diagnostic and treatment plans in collaboration with the wider medical team.
- Participate in MDT (multi-disciplinary team) meetings and case discussions.
- Offer supervision and support to junior doctors and trainees.
- Engage in on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with trust policies.
- GMC Registration Evidence (Full license to practice)
- ALS (Advanced Life Support) or BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- Extensive experience in neurology at consultant level
- Proven history of clinical excellence and patient care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
