Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? We are currently seeking a Night Housing Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Harlow. As a key member of our night support team, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance to young people aged 16-21 who are at risk of homelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments of potential or actual service users, addressing risks and identifying needs.
- Maintain regular contact with service users, fostering professional relationships and acting as a positive role model.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure personal safety during activities with service users.
- Develop relationships with external groups/agencies to support the needs and requirements of service users.
- Promptly respond to internal or external complaints, challenging anti-social behavior and reporting risks.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (Both Adult and Child).
- Ability to maintain professionalism and positive relationships with service users.
- Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
