Service Users: Young people aged 16 and 17 years old at risk of homelessness, care leavers aged 18-21
Working Hours: 20:15 - 07:45
Car Driver Needed: No (Desirable)

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? We are currently seeking a Night Housing Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Harlow. As a key member of our night support team, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance to young people aged 16-21 who are at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments of potential or actual service users, addressing risks and identifying needs.
  • Maintain regular contact with service users, fostering professional relationships and acting as a positive role model.
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure personal safety during activities with service users.
  • Develop relationships with external groups/agencies to support the needs and requirements of service users.
  • Promptly respond to internal or external complaints, challenging anti-social behavior and reporting risks.


Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (Both Adult and Child).
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and positive relationships with service users.
  • Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
