Position Overview:

As an Occupational Therapist Level 2 specialising in adult care, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for adults facing physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities, strengths, and areas of need.

- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice.

- Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving activities of daily living, adaptive skills, and vocational performance.

- Utilize assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to enhance clients' independence and safety.

- Monitor clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all interventions and outcomes accurately.

- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies for maintaining progress and maximizing independence outside of therapy sessions.

- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT).

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and interventions relevant to adult rehabilitation and mental health.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current trends and research in the field of occupational therapy.
