We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Opiate Recovery Worker to join our team in South London, as an Opiate Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction, providing them with the guidance, support, and resources necessary to overcome their challenges and achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life.
About the Role:
As an Opiate Recovery Worker, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered support to individuals in recovery. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and developing personalized recovery plans for clients
- Providing emotional support, guidance, and education to help clients overcome addiction
- Facilitating group and individual sessions, workshops, and activities to promote recovery and well-being
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to ensure effective service delivery
- Qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
- Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
