Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Band 5-8 Occupational Therapist to work within a community paediatric team in Lancashire.
Placement Details
Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30
Contract Length: 4 Months (+ongoing)
Hours: Full Time
Pay : £21-£36ph (Ltd) depending on banding and previous employed experience within paediatrics.
Location: East Lancashire
Occupational therapists carry out assessments and rehabilitation that focus on functional and therapeutic activities.
This paediatric position is specifically focused on development assessments for motor coordination difficulties for children.
Therapeutic activities can help you to improve your functional activities. Occupational therapists use therapeutic activities such as puzzles, games and group activities to help with the following:
- Movement
- Co-ordination
- Strength
- Sensation
- Writing skills
- Fine finger movements
- Cognition
- Perception
The successful applicant must be a Qualified Occupational Therapist currently registered with the HCPC and have recent experience working within Paediatric Services.
