Paralegal - Legal Assistant Litigation

About the Role:

A very supportive, encouraging law firm based in the Merseyside is seeking a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join their Litigation department. This is a full-time role which requires the candidate to provide legal and admin support to the Litigation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General legal and admin support including typing will be required
  • Day to day assistance for the team
  • Communicating with courts, experts and agencies
  • Appointment making with Clients, organising and taking calls.
  • Preparing bundles of documents for hearings and opening/ managing files.
  • Attending court assisting counsel and/or clients

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months experience working in a legal practice (desirable)
  • Experience of Case Management Systems and Laserforms (desirable)
  • Good with people, friendly personality and self sufficient
  • Flexible and able to accommodate client or team needs
