Service Care Solutions are looking for a People Administrator to work within the North Yorkshire Police on a 6-month contract.

Job roles/responsibilities:
As People Services Administrator you will be a member of a team responsible for delivering high quality, credible and timely transactional support services covering but not limited to people life cycle, pay, pensions and health and safety. You will deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate real value to front line services through data and results.
- Responsible for providing high quality, credible and timely transactional support services covering but not limited to people life cycle, pay, pensions, policy & procedure and health & safety, delivering excellent customer service.
- You will deliver service in accordance with agreed standards including KPIs and SLAs as well as identifying and developing ongoing process and service improvements.
- Effective maintenance and management of employee records, in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations or procedures as applicable.
- Develop and maintain good knowledge of key procedures and processes, identifying, resolving, and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Respond to queries and provide advice, guidance or signposting to internal and external customers on transactional support services, key procedures, and processes as appropriate.
- Promote the service catalogue, associated tools, SLA's and KPI's, ensuring they are clearly understood by service users and colleagues.
- Ensure the provision of relevant and timely people data in partnership with colleagues as appropriate.
- Contribute to or participate in research or project work on key issues or specific initiatives as required.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, key stakeholders, unions, and staff associations.
Skills required:
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality administrative services aligned with SLAs and KPIs, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, adept at communicating effectively across diverse platforms to meet varying customer needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems, displaying meticulous attention to detail in producing and presenting accurate data and information.
- Desirable understanding of statutory legislation concerning people transactions such as pensions and payroll, alongside experience with financial systems and knowledge of equality legislation.
