Salary: 470 - 520 per day - 37 hour week

Job Description:

A Local Authority based in London is looking for a temporary Programme Lead (Financial Improvement) to lead a number of complex and high-profile projects in the Finance Improvement Programme (FIP) to ensure a high quality, effective and responsive financial services function for the Local Authority.

The post holder will be responsible for restructure and system changes regarding the Financial Improvement Program and will deputise the Assistant Director of Financial Services when required. They will be required to lead a team and present findings/suggestions to members of the board.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • ACCA or CCAB Equivalent qualified.
  • Experience in delivering programme lead and leading change
  • Experience of planning, interpersonal relationships and presentation to board/senior officers
  • Experience of Local Authority finance desirable
