Programme Manager

A client within the Public Sector based in Bristol is currently recruiting for a Programme Manager to join their Capital Delivery team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to lead delivery programme, in conjunction with partners, in support of our Joint Local Transport Plan and Environmental Strategies.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead a suite of projects to time, cost, and quality, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure success.
  • To lead the development of projects from concept to physical delivery and post opening evaluation in conjunction with the Transport Team
  • Ensure the portfolio of projects links clearly with the overall Business Plan and Local Industrial Strategy

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to be educated to degree level in relevant academic subject with technical knowledge or have the relevant practical experience to demonstrate a commensurate level of technical knowledge within the transport sector. In depth knowledge of UK civil engineering design and construction projects.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £747.00 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
