Quality Inspector

Job Description

Our client, a housing group based in Eastleigh are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team. This is on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role is to develop and maintain effective and lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders for new mixed tenure schemes ensuring customers receive excellent customer service throughout the structural warranty period of their home.

Carry out inspections on properties within their structural warranty period, writing reports and gathering photographic evidence to present claims to warranty providers.

Carry out inspections on latent defects, gathering photographic evidence, diagnosing issues, writing reports on findings and identifying opportunities for recharging.

Attending warranty inspections, complaint visits and end of year defect inspections, completing and maintaining paperwork and records accurately in accordance with policies and procedures.

Manage the reporting, processing and resolution of latent defect claims and referrals in assets owned by the client, using effective decision making aligned to business interests.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Relevant professional qualification and/or experience in Quality inspection/Surveying.
