Our client, a local authority based in Derby are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is on an ongoing contract basis.

The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of the Council's Highways Capital Programme.

The structures programme contains a number of multi-million pound projects being delivered by external contractors, and the quantity surveyor will support the commercial manager in undertaking financial management and assessment of invoice applications for the works.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Relevant professional qualification.

Candidates will have experience of Quantity Surveying, specifically on Highways/Structural works.
