Service Care is assisting Thames Valley Police (TVP) to fill this crucial role. on a full time long term basis.

Position: RAMP Support Officer
Location: Kidlington
Pay Rate: Up to £30/hr

Role Overview

As a RAMP Support Officer, you will play a vital role in triaging Reasonable Adjustments Management Process (RAMP) applications. Your main responsibilities will include providing advice to management, supporting applicants, and working on process improvements to reduce backlog.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage Applications: Evaluate RAMP applications and determine the best course of action.
  • Provide Guidance: Advise individuals and managers to complete RAMP processes effectively.
  • Referral Management: Refer complex cases to the RAMP Advisor, Manager, or other assessors as needed.
  • Process Support: Assist in the reduction of backlog and contribute to process redesign.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly meetings to discuss cases and share knowledge.
  • Tool Utilisation: Support the launch and analysis of QuickScan and QuickScreen tools.

Essential Skills

  • IT Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Understanding of the Equality Act and reasonable adjustments.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
  • HR Experience: Background in generalist HR functions and inter-departmental collaboration.
