Registered Care Manager

An ongoing agency position has become available for a Registered Care Manager for a London based care organisation offering support to those with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.

Contract - Agency, Minimum of 3 months.
Shifts - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Hours - Full Time
Pay Rate - £25 ph Ltd (Equivalent to £38,000 per year)
Location - Teddington, South West London

As a CQC registered manager, you will in charge of a residential service which cares for 7 service users through a team of 16 staff providing care and support of the highest standard. The service users have a range of low to moderate learning disabilities and are adults aged from 45 - 80 years old. This is a CQC rated 'Good' service which is looking for someone on a temporary basis for a minimum of three months with an option to extend or find another contract within another of their services.

This service in particular is based not far from Hampton Wick station and if 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday is not ideal then the service can be flexible in altering working hours or days for the right candidate.

  • Staff supervision and appraisals
  • Staff rotas
  • Making sure all CQC policies and regulations are adhered to
  • Implementing training programs
  • Reporting to Area Management

Candidate Requirements:

  • Essential to be CQC registered
  • Essential to have a NVQ Level 5 in health and social care management or degree equivalent
  • Essential to have past experience in management a care service
  • Preferable to have experience in working with learning disabilities and autism
  • Preferable to have experience in providing end of life support.
