Work Pattern: Monday - Friday | 08:00am - 16:30pm

Are you passionate about fire safety and ensuring excellent customer service? Join our client's Fire Compliance and Remediation team as a Repairs Coordinator. In this role, you'll support the fire door inspection and remedial works programme by scheduling inspections and repairs, ensuring tenants are kept informed of any changes, and maintaining clear communication with colleagues on site. Your role will be crucial in ensuring fire door repairs are completed on time and to a high standard.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to customer enquiries, providing exceptional customer service in line with policies.
  • Accurately raise and prioritise reported fire door inspections and repairs, ensuring they are scheduled effectively.
  • Monitor the progress of fire door repairs throughout the day, maintaining communication with operatives, surveyors, and customers.
  • Ensure operatives have completed fire door repairs satisfactorily using their mobile devices.
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to customers, contractors, and colleagues regarding fire door repairs enquiries.
  • Make outbound contact to customers and arrange appointments as needed.
  • Liaise effectively with contractors.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Proven experience in a customer service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a repairs and maintenance environment (desirable).
  • Experience in organising repairs using a scheduling system (desirable).
