Are you a caring, creative, and enthusiastic individual with experience supporting children with disabilities? We’re looking for someone just like you to join our dedicated team in a short break setting within the Home Support Team in Middlesbrough.
As a Short Break Support Worker, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children with a range of disabilities
- Carry out personal care as part of your duties
- Support children who may have difficulty forming relationships, following routines, accepting boundaries, or who may display challenging behaviour
- Work split shifts, including evenings, weekends, early mornings, school holidays, and bank holidays
- Has relevant experience working with children with additional needs
- Brings a professional, flexible, and compassionate approach to care
- Can think quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence and has access to a vehicle with business insurance
