Roofer / Multi Trader

Pay Rate: £25.95 Per Hour
Type: Temp to perm

The Roofer trades person is to carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals ranging from emergency and other routine reactive repairs on numerous sites daily to single site programmed repairs and refurbishment work in occupied and void housing properties and other premises in accordance with best trade practice and to current standards and regulations.

The employee must carry out works to a consistently high standard of quality and customer satisfaction and complete works 'Right First Time'.

As a Roofer Multi Trader you are responsible for:

• To carry out minor roofing repairs to our properties
• Delivery of General Building / Roofing maintenance repairs / gutters / minor groundworks / minor brickwork
• As well as being capable of additional types of work related to a roofing expected skill set
• Undertaking day to day response maintenance repairs
• Plumbing repairs
• Leak tracing

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ / City & Guilds or Equivalent
• 4 Years Roofing Experience Required
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Must Have Genuine Concern for Health and Safety
• (HCC) Relevant CSCS card and NRSWA or equivalent for level of work
• In depth knowledge of built-up felt roofing/flat roofing and pitch roofing, slating and tiling
