Passionate & experienced Children's Social Worker's needed - Excellent package on offer!

We are currently recruiting for a Children's Safeguarding/Locality Team Social Worker for Walsall Councill as they seek to on-board talent as of July 2022.

Walsall are looking to expand their long-term team and know how tough Children's Social Work can be so wanting to offer the best packages that they possibly can to any Locum Social Worker joining the service.

The overall rating of the Local Authority has been rated 'GOOD' by OFSTED, they are seeking passionate Social Worker's to help them take the LA's practice to the next level and achieve an even better rating next time.

What's in it for you ?

• Up to £32.34 per hour to ensure that you have financial security.
• Long term contracts for 2022, fixed for 12-months
• Caseload: A manageable caseload and capped number of families to work with to ensure that you can provide the best support to Children & Families and to ensure you aren't overloaded.
• They will pay for ABE training for Social Worker's that wish to complete it (must have worked in the authority for 6 months to be eligible and reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
• They will pay for PAMS training for any Social Worker's that wish to complete it (must have worked in the authority for 6 months to be eligible and reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
• Mileage charged at 0.45p per mile
• Clinical & regular supervision offered from an experienced management team - They can provide access to internal training & courses to help support your practice.
• POST ASYE or nearly completed social workers are welcomed to apply

What are they looking for?

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Previous experience within Children's Services as a Qualified Social Worker (2 years+)
• Car driver
• Passion for achieving positive outcomes for Children & Families.
