Are you a Scrub Nurse or RGN looking to train to become a Scrub Nurse? Are you looking to further a career specialising in Ophthalmic Care?


Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Scrub Nurse in Bradford to participate in all aspects of the ophthalmic service, including surgery, pre-operative assessments, and post-operative care. You'll assist the clinical team and consultants in all aspects of ophthalmic care, as well as being responsible for admission and discharge of patients on theatre days.


Location: Bradford
Job Type: Ophthalmic Theatre Scrub Nurse
Contract: Permanent (37.5hrs per week)
Pay Rate: £30k - £40.5k (depending on experience)


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage theatre equipment daily and prepare all areas priory to clinical activities.
  • Ensure the correct storage of all equipment, as well as assisting with stock control.
  • Administer medication in accordance with the NMC guidelines.
  • Follow correct procedure in reporting accidents and incidents.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical/hospital setting post registration
  • Compassionate and caring
  • NMC Registered General Nurse with Scrub Experience
  • Experience working with the CQC and within the private healthcare sector.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a larger team, with excellent communication skills.
