Job Description
A Local Authority based in London is looking for a Senior Accountant (VAT) to join their team on an initial 3-month basis. The post holder will file VAT Returns, undertake the Partial Exemption calculation, answer queries at varying difficulty levels, represent the Authority at various VAT support groups and liaise with HMRC around the Business Risk Review.

Ideal Candidate
- AAT or studying for CIPFA minimum essential
- Local Authority/Government finance background essential
- Experience of VAT work in a Local Authority
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
