Rate: £30.26 per hour (Umbrella)

Join a High-Impact Transformation Programme with the Greater London Authority Service Care Solutions are proud to be supporting the Greater London Authority (GLA) in the recruitment of a Senior Internal and Change Communications Officer to lead internal communications for the rollout of the IT Shared Services (ITSS) programme.
This high-profile post is a much-needed dedicated resource within the Internal Communications team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring stakeholders across the GLA, TfL, MOPAC, and OPDC are informed, engaged, and onboard throughout this critical IT transformation.
The Role: You’ll take ownership of the internal communications strategy and activity that underpins the ITSS programme—bridging the gap between technical implementation and user adoption.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and delivering effective change and internal comms strategies to support the migration and embedding of IT Shared Services.
  • Producing and managing engaging content across key internal channels, such as the intranet, newsletters, and leadership messages.
  • Advising stakeholders on communication approaches and implementing comms interventions to ensure successful rollout.
  • Developing materials such as guidance documents, news stories, and event support content.
  • Engaging stakeholders across multiple partner organisations.
What We're Looking For:
  • Demonstrable experience in internal communications and engagement, ideally within large-scale change or transformation programmes.
  • Ability to translate complex technical changes into clear, meaningful messaging for staff audiences.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership teams.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Proficient in tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Drupal.
