Senior Registered General Nurse - Rapid Response

Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within the community rapid response team, Based in Shrewsbury or Shropshire

The team sits within the rapid response nursing team with the role predominantly supporting the provision of Community Nursing care within the Rapid Response and provide scheduled and unscheduled care to the house bound population. You will assist in the assessment, planning and implementation of holistic care provision and work with the MDT to prevent avoidable hospital admissions. As part of this role you will be required to use the following clinical skills: Catheter care, phlebotomy, syringe driver, IV therapy, Subcutaneous drug administration, History taking/top to toe assessment and Care of acutely unwell patients. You will also ensure at all times patients are treated with care and compassion and support the senior nurse in organisation and coordination of the overall care to meet clients' care needs, which may be complex involving other professionals and agencies in an integrated and co-ordinated way.

This role is to commence asap with the shift patterns being full time across 7 days working 3 long days per week. The hours would be between 08:00 - 22:00

The Hourly Rate for this role is:

Monday to Friday 06:00 - 20:00: £26
Saturday/Nights: £30
Sunday/Bank Holiday: £34
