We are currently recruiting for a Social Work Assistant to join children's services in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into children's services and make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and families in the area!

This position is:

* full time - 37 hours p/w

* initial 6 month contract

The main tasks of this role include supporting social workers with the following:

* family time

* joint visits

* telephone calls

* contacting agencies for support

* direct work with children and families

We are looking for candidates with experience in working with children. It is also essential that you have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
