Social Work Assistant needed with Achieving for Children based in Maidenhead
Start Date- ASAP
Location - Maidenhead
Duration - 3 months initially
Hours per week - 37 hours per week
Salary - £16 ltd an hour
Description:
- To work as part of the Duty and Assessment Team
- You will work closely with every member of the team from Head of Service to the newly qualified social workers with responsibility for a variety of direct work with children and families and the administrative tasks required to support the social workers so they can focus directly on the children
- Responsibilities will include working directly with children and families under the direction of the social worker in order to deliver time limited support, making contact with partner agencies to gather and share information, taking and recording minutes, writing letters, completing referrals to other agencies, maintaining electronic files and any other tasks identified by the manager
What is required?
- Educated to GCSE Level A-C in English and Maths
- An awareness of child developmental stages and the impact of advise childhood experiences
- Experience in taking and writing minutes of meetings
- Experience within a similar role
