About the Role:
As a Team Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of social workers, officers, and other professionals who work together to deliver exceptional services to children, young people, and families. You'll have a proven track record of experience in duty and assessment and child protection teams, with a strong understanding of the complexities and nuances of these roles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of social workers and officers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, ensuring that our teams are equipped to meet the changing needs of our community
- Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to service delivery
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide interventions to support vulnerable children, young people, and families
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation
- Proven experience of working in duty and assessment and child protection teams, with a strong understanding of the complexities and nuances of these roles
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and service users
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality services under pressure
