Liverpool City Council is seeking a skilled and passionate Social Worker to join our Family Help 0β9 Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families across the city, supporting early intervention and safeguarding work.
πΉ Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload focused on early help and safeguarding for children aged 0β9.
Complete assessments, deliver effective interventions, and work in partnership with families and other professionals.
Promote the wellbeing and development of children and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making.
πΉ Requirements:
Social Work England registration
Proven experience in statutory childrenβs social work
Commitment to strengths-based and relationship-focused practice
π· Pay and Overtime Conditions:
Please note Liverpool City Councilβs updated overtime structure:
Standard Hours (up to 37/week): Paid at plain time.
