Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to support a Pre-School within Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. This is a LOCUM opportunity for the duration of 3 months with the likelihood of extension. This is a full-time placement with 37.5 hours per week available. Part-time applications will be considered.

Pay Rate: £25.00 LTD p/h + £250 Welcome Bonus
Location: Harrow, North-West London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Key Responsibilities
- The post holder will work with the pre-school Speech and Language therapy team.
- The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner providing a specialist speech and language therapy service to a designated caseload of children requiring early intervention as well as children with a range of speech, language and communication and eating/drinking difficulties and Special Educational Needs (SEN). This will include children attending pre-school settings.
- A significant proportion of these children will have English as an additional language (EAL).
- Will be expected to manage your own caseload, travel between clinics and work alongside health and education staff to ensure specialist therapy programmes and health education plans are in place for the children under your care.
- Will be expected to work collaboratively with children/young people (CYP), parents/ carers and with colleagues in Health, Education and Social Services in planning and delivery of services.
Essential
- Registered with the HCPC
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Experience with Children
