Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for a Strategic Finance Business Partner to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will provide business partner support to services including waste and recycling; housing and homelessness; planning and building control and they will also support the Local Authority's housing revenue account.

Key Responsibilities

Providing a high-level business partnering service, advising and challenging senior officers across multiple areas, ensuring the financial strategy of the Authority is met.
Support the Head of Financial Planning & Business Partnering to lead and coordinate the medium-term financial planning for the Authority.
Lead small projects and implement changes and improvements where necessary and within the agreed cost, time and standards.
Direct line management responsibility of up to 5 FTE staff.

Candidate Criteria

CCAB/CIMA Qualified Accountant with extensive PQE
Experience of providing business partner support to multiple different areas within a Local Authority
Experience of leading and managing a team of Finance Business Partners to provide an effective service
Experience of supporting a Local Authority's housing revenue account
Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
