We are working with a specialist service is designed for individuals with learning disabilities who require a high level of support to live within a community setting.
Role Overview:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in our team, providing compassionate and personalised support to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Supporting clients in developing independence and life skills.
- Facilitating social and community integration.
- Implementing personalised care plans and documenting progress.
- Responding to the unique needs of each client with empathy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
- Assist with personal care, medication administration, and daily living activities.
- Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
- Collaborate with other team members and external professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Support Worker role
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is desirable
- A compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work on an adhoc basis
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care are an advantage.
