A Housing Association based in Middleborough is currently recruiting for Surveyor to join their Stock Condition team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, permanent position and the ideal candidate will hold a HNC/HND or degree in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline or have experience of carrying out stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments and producing EPCs in occupied and void properties. You will have sound understanding of risk factors, including health and safety associated with stock condition and energy assessment work,

The purpose of the role is support this, we are looking for two highly motivated Surveyors to work alongside the three existing Surveyors and carry out accurate and detailed stock condition surveys of our residential properties and associated assets, carry out Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) assessments as well as produce EPCs in a timely manner.

• Responsible for the accurate collection of data relating to HHSRS and the assessment/rating of stock company-wide
• Responsible for collecting property information in line with survey demands, including void properties in line with programme requirements and operating plans, ensuring the best use of resources to maximise productivity
• Undertake detailed stock condition surveys, technical due diligence surveys and planned preventative maintenance schedules
• Undertake energy efficiency surveys and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's)
