Oaktree Childcare, a family-run and expanding organisation, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Registered Manager to join our dedicated team in Poulton-le-Fylde. This role is ideal for experienced Team Leaders or Deputy Managers looking to progress into a Registered Manager position with the full support of an experienced Service Manager.

? Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of individualised care plans for children.

  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of practice.

  • Ensure compliance with all Ofsted and safeguarding regulations.

  • Monitor and maintain staffing levels and team competencies.

  • Assist in budget management and financial oversight of the home.

  • Promote a nurturing, safe, and positive environment for children and young people.

  • Maintain excellent communication with professionals, families, and external agencies.

? Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential.

  • Experience in a senior or managerial role within residential childcare.

  • NVQ Level 5 or willingness to work towards it.

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

  • Enhanced DBS check (funded by us).

  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to safeguarding children.
