As a Works Scheduler/Administrator, you play a vital role in our mission to positively impact customers' lives by ensuring safe, high-quality homes and connected communities. In this dynamic position, you'll collaborate with internal operatives and external contractors, committing to a customer-focused culture. Your responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating customer appointments, planned activities, and repairs, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal customer experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage appointments for the heating department, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting customer needs.
  • Raise orders accurately and promptly, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Engage with customers, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Communicate with field operatives to facilitate smooth execution of scheduled appointments, addressing any issues or changes as needed.
  • Monitor and manage a centralized inbox, promptly responding to emails and inquiries, ensuring effective communication flow.
  • Receive and handle incoming calls, providing assistance, re-arranging appointments, and addressing customer queries in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records by entering information into relevant databases and systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams within Property Services to ensure seamless communication and workflow across departments.
  • Address issues and challenges related to scheduling, appointments, or customer concerns, working towards effective and timely resolutions.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize workload effectively to meet the demands of a busy heating department.
