Youth Worker - Family Support Service

Service Care Solutions are currently searching for a Youth Worker to work within Solihull's Family Service Team on a temporary basis with the flexibility of being hybrid paying up to £14.71ph.
Day-to-Day Duties

  • To provide a support service under the direction of the Assistant Team Manager involved in delivery of programs and interventions with vulnerable children and their families.
  • To deliver a variety of targeted youth work programs and approaches with young people.
  • To design, develop and deliver appropriate evidence-based interventions to meet the needs of identified young people and their families.
  • Responsible for undertaking Early Help and developing effective support plans in liaison with children, young people, their careers, and other professionals.

Requirements

  • This is an essential car user post as the demands of the job make it operationally essential and there is a contractual requirement to make a suitable vehicle available.
  • There will be a requirement to work some evenings and weekends.
  • The right candidate will have to pass an Enhanced Children and Adults DBS check.
  • To have previous experience working directly with children, or a L3 NVQ working with children.
