Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an Accommodation Advisor to join a dedicated team in Derby supporting individuals within the criminal justice sector. This is a full-time, 3-month contract, with a view to going permanent, offering a competitive salary dependent on experience.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference, supporting individuals both in custody and the community to secure and sustain suitable accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves travel across probation offices and custodial settings, offering varied and meaningful work within a supportive team environment.
Vetting Requirements:
Due to the nature of this role, successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check (Adult Workforce) and will be required to obtain HMPPS Level 1 Prison Clearance prior to starting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of clients with housing-related needs
- Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored SMART action plans
- Support individuals to find and maintain accommodation
- Liaise with local authorities and partner agencies
- Provide advice on tenancy sustainment and basic budgeting
- Deliver support through both one-to-one and group sessions
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- A proactive, solution-focused and non-judgemental approach
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
